More Life Athletics, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the MoreLife platform at morelife.fit. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services.

Information We Collect
- Account information: When you sign up, we collect information such as your name, email address, and password through our authentication provider, Clerk. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive an Apple Sign-In ID or Google OAuth ID from those providers in place of a password.
- Profile and health data: To personalize coaching, we collect your age, sex, height, weight, body composition, fitness goals, dietary preferences, and food allergies and intolerances. You may also provide ongoing data such as body measurements and stats, workout logs, and meal logs to power tracking features.
- Body composition photos: If you use our optional Body Scanner feature, the front and side photos you upload are stored in our secure private storage bucket and processed by AI vision providers (Google Gemini, Groq) to generate composition estimates. You can delete individual scans at any time, and all photos are permanently removed when you delete your account.
- Food photos: If you use our Food Scanner, the photos you submit are sent to AI vision providers for nutritional analysis. We do not retain the raw image after analysis unless you explicitly save the meal.
- Location data: We optionally store your country and region (not precise GPS coordinates) so that meal plans suggest cuisines and ingredients appropriate to where you live.
- Push notification tokens: If you enable push notifications, we store the device token, platform, and timezone needed to deliver reminders. You can disable notifications at any time in your settings.
- Apple HealthKit, Google Health Connect & Samsung Health data: If you connect MoreLife to Apple HealthKit (iOS), Google Health Connect (Android), or Samsung Health (Android) on the mobile app, we may receive and store activity (steps, distance, active calories), sleep (duration, quality, deep/REM breakdown), heart rate (resting HR, HRV), body metrics (weight, body fat), and external workout records you have authorized to share. This data is used to personalize your coaching and is stored on the same secure infrastructure as the rest of your account. You can revoke this access in your device's health settings at any time.
- Usage data: This includes chat messages with our AI coach and how you use product features, which helps us operate and improve the service.
- Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card numbers on our servers.
Photo Data
Photos you capture for fridge scanning, exercise machine scanning, body composition scanning, and meal logging are sent to our AI vision processing partners (Anthropic and Google Gemini) for analysis. We do not retain these photos beyond the analysis session unless you explicitly log the result. Body composition scans you choose to save are stored in our private object storage and can be deleted at any time from within the app.
Health & Fitness Data
MoreLife integrates with three health and fitness platforms — Apple HealthKit on iOS, Google Health Connect on Android, and Samsung Health (via Google Health Connect on supported Android devices). The privacy principles described in this section apply to all three: read-only by default (in current versions), explicit user consent for each data category, no sale of data, and the ability to disconnect and delete at any time.
Apple HealthKit (iOS)
When you connect Apple HealthKit to MoreLife on an iOS device, we access the following categories of data with your explicit consent through Apple's HealthKit framework: daily activity (steps, active energy burned, exercise sessions), heart rate measurements (resting heart rate, heart rate variability), sleep sessions and stages, body composition (body weight, body fat percentage), hydration logs, workout history, and menstrual cycle data (when explicitly granted).
We use Apple HealthKit data exclusively to personalize the recommendations generated by your AI coach, populate your personal dashboards and progress views, and generate aggregated, de-identified analytics that help us improve our coaching.
In compliance with Apple's App Store Review Guidelines and HealthKit Terms, we never sell your HealthKit data, never share it with advertisers, never use it for advertising purposes, and never share it with third parties that may use it for advertising or for any purpose other than improving health, medical, and fitness management or to provide health care services. Limited data may be transmitted to our AI inference providers (Anthropic and Google) solely to generate your coaching responses, under contractual terms that prohibit those providers from retaining your data or using it to train their models. None of this transmission constitutes a sale of HealthKit data.
You can disconnect Apple HealthKit from MoreLife at any time through the iOS Settings app under Health > Data Access & Devices > MoreLife, or from within the MoreLife app. Disconnecting immediately stops new data syncing. You can also request deletion of all previously synced HealthKit data from within the app or by emailing support@morelife.fit.
Google Health Connect (Android)
When you connect Google Health Connect to MoreLife on an Android device, we access the following categories of data with your explicit consent through Android's Health Connect framework: daily activity (steps, active calories burned, exercise sessions), heart rate measurements (resting heart rate, heart rate variability), sleep sessions and stages, and body composition (body weight, body fat percentage).
We use Health Connect data exclusively to personalize the recommendations generated by your AI coach, populate your personal dashboards and progress views, and generate aggregated, de-identified analytics that help us improve our coaching.
We never sell your Health Connect data. We never share it with advertisers. We never share it with third parties for their own purposes. Limited data may be transmitted to our AI inference providers (Anthropic and Google) solely to generate your coaching responses, under contractual terms that prohibit those providers from retaining your data or using it to train their models.
You can disconnect Google Health Connect from MoreLife at any time through the Android Settings app under Health Connect > App permissions > MoreLife, or from within the MoreLife app. Disconnecting immediately stops new data syncing. You can also request deletion of all previously synced Health Connect data from within the app or by emailing support@morelife.fit.
Samsung Health (Android)
When you connect Samsung Health to MoreLife, we access the following categories of data with your explicit consent, mediated through Google Health Connect on supported Android devices (and, in future versions of MoreLife, through the Samsung Health Data SDK directly): daily activity (steps, active calories burned, exercise sessions), heart rate measurements (resting heart rate, heart rate variability), sleep sessions and stages, body composition (body weight, body fat percentage), hydration logs, nutrition entries logged in Samsung Health, menstrual cycle data (when explicitly granted), and stress and recovery metrics (where available).
We use Samsung Health data exclusively to personalize the recommendations generated by your AI coach, populate your personal dashboards and progress views, and generate aggregated, de-identified analytics that help us improve our coaching.
We never sell your Samsung Health data. We never share it with advertisers. We never share it with third parties for their own purposes. Limited data may be transmitted to our AI inference providers (Anthropic and Google) solely to generate your coaching responses, under contractual terms that prohibit those providers from retaining your data or using it to train their models.
You can disconnect Samsung Health from MoreLife at any time from within the app, which immediately stops new data syncing. You can also request deletion of all previously synced Samsung Health data from within the app or by emailing support@morelife.fit. Active data deletion completes within 30 days; backup database purges complete within 90 days per our backup retention policy.

All health data from any of these platforms is transmitted to MoreLife's servers over TLS 1.3 encryption and stored in encrypted PostgreSQL databases with row-level access controls tied to your account. Access is restricted to authorized engineering personnel for the purpose of operating and improving the service. Active data deletion completes within 30 days of request; backup database purges complete within 90 days per our backup retention policy.
How We Use Your Information

Data Storage & Security
- Application data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase, with encryption at rest as provided by our infrastructure.
- Authentication is handled by Clerk, which maintains industry-recognized practices (e.g., SOC 2).
- Payments are processed by Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant.
- We enforce HTTPS on connections to help protect data in transit.
Subprocessors & Third-Party Service Providers
We rely on the subprocessors below to operate MoreLife. Each entry describes the purpose of processing and what categories of data the provider receives. Each provider's own privacy policy also applies to the data they process on our behalf.
- Anthropic — AI coaching (paid-tier cascade primary). Receives: user context, goals, scan results.
- Google (Gemini) — AI vision for food, body, machine, bathroom, fridge, and form scans; AI coaching cascade fallback. Receives: image data, user context.
- Groq — AI coaching for free tier; cascade fallback. Receives: user context.
- Google AI (Scout) — AI cascade fallback. Receives: user context.
- Supabase — Database hosting and storage (Pro tier). Receives: all user data.
- Vercel — Web app hosting and serverless functions. Receives: all request and response data.
- Clerk — Authentication and identity. Receives: email, OAuth identifiers.
- Stripe — Payment processing. Receives: billing data, subscription state.
- RevenueCat — Mobile subscription management. Receives: in-app purchase receipts, subscription state.
- Sentry — Error tracking and crash reporting. Receives: error logs, device metadata.
- PostHog — Product analytics. Receives: usage events, anonymized where possible.
- Resend — Transactional email delivery. Receives: email address, message content.
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — iOS push notifications. Receives: device token, message content.
- Expo Push — Push notification routing. Receives: device token, message content.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — Android push notifications. Receives: device token, message content.
- YouTube (Google) — Embedded exercise and recipe video playback. Receives: video playback metadata.
- Unsplash — Food and recipe image content delivery network. Receives: image URL requests; no user PII transmitted. (Note: planned migration to first-party storage post-launch.)
- Pexels — Recipe imagery. Receives: image URL requests; no user PII transmitted.
- USDA FoodData Central — Public nutrition database. No user data transmitted; outbound queries only.
- Open Food Facts — Public food product database. No user data transmitted; outbound queries only.
Under our current agreements with Anthropic, Google, and Groq, your prompts, chat content, food photos, and health data sent for inference are not used to train their models.
App Tracking Transparency
On iOS, we request your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before tracking activity across other apps and websites. You can change this preference at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. We do not use third-party tracking for advertising purposes.
Your Rights
- Access the personal data associated with your account, and download a complete export via
/api/user/data-export. - Permanently delete your account and all associated data via
/api/user/delete-account. Deletion removes profile, logs, plans, body scan photos, AI chat history, and your authentication record. - Opt out of marketing emails (transactional messages may still be sent).
- Update your profile and preferences through the product where available.
Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights regarding your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR Articles 15–22):
- Right of access (Article 15) — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification (Article 16) — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure (Article 17) — request deletion of your personal data.
- Right to restriction of processing (Article 18) — ask us to limit how we use your data.
- Right to data portability (Article 20) — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to object (Article 21) — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Right to lodge a complaint — file a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Our legal basis for processing is typically (a) performance of a contract for core app functions, and (b) your consent for optional features such as Apple Health or Google Health Connect integration. Your Rights Under CCPA
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the following rights:
- Right to know — what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
- Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we hold about you.
- Right to correct — ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing — see the disclosure below.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service for exercising these rights.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any CCPA right, contact privacy@morelife.fit.
Data Retention
- We retain active account data while your subscription or account remains active, as needed to provide the service.
- After a verified account deletion request, we aim to delete associated personal data within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law.
- Anonymized or aggregated usage data may be retained for analytics and product improvement.
AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
MoreLife uses artificial intelligence to generate meal plans, workout programs, body composition estimates, and coaching responses. These outputs are not medical advice and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. They are informational and educational only. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting a new diet, exercise program, or supplement regimen — especially if you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition, or are taking medication. Body composition scans are visual estimates for tracking purposes, not diagnostic measurements. Stop any activity that causes pain, dizziness, or discomfort.
Children's Privacy
MoreLife is not directed at, and is not intended for, children under 13 (in the United States) or under 16 (in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under those ages. Parents or legal guardians who believe their child has provided us with personal information may request deletion by emailing privacy@morelife.fit or by using the account deletion flow at /account-deletion, and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify you by email or through the product where appropriate.
